The most referenced religious text in Islam after the Quran is undoubtedly Sahih al-Bukhari. Written over 1000 years ago by the famous Persian scholar, Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari, Sahih al-Bukhari has served as the benchmark for Islamic scholarship for generations. Being a technical text, it is difficult for people reading a mere English translation to grasp the discussions the Great Imam has incorporated in his book. Now, for the first time in history, an English commentary has been prepared to help readers appreciate the momentous work the imam has rendered. With brief explanations to detailed analysis and Islamic Law charts, this new commentary is a must for every bookshelf in a Muslim home and institution.
This book is a masterpiece that any avid reader of the Islamic sciences must have. It is well laid out, and reads in a very simple, yet eloquent style. It is also a phenomenal resource which allows the reader to engage with one of the most authentic texts in the Islamic tradition. It is evident that Shaykh Omar has spent considerable energies in researching the great commentaries of past centuries to bring forth something that the modern English reader will not only benefit from, but enjoy reading immensely.
This is a masterpiece when it comes to making the compilation of Imam Bukhari accessible to the wider Muslim audience. It is nicely structured with colour coded text. The English is easy to read, but vast enough for a scholar to benefit from as well. Highly recommend this to students of knowledge
Diving into a chapter of Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī reveals many layers of the ḥadīth text which are unavailable to the casual reader. Considering the nuances by which Imām al-Bukhārī functions, e.g., ta’līqāt, intricacies of his chapter titles, and presenting similar narrations with varying details throughout his ṣaḥīḥ, are necessary to truly appreciate the significance of the work and understand why it impacted the Ummah in the manner that it did. The course at Bukhārī Academy aided me in understanding the book at a deeper level, especially with the breath of commentaries leveraged for the text along with the meticulous breakdown of each ḥadīth.

I was shocked to see that it contained only 56 hadith....it is amazing. I really can not say enough about how great it is.
If you want to actually study and learn something about Islam from actual scholars, then buy this book.
